All About Me

I've been writing for a long time, but only seriously considered having my work published when I was about 23, give or take a year. I mostly write in the Fantasy genre, but have also dabbled in Sci-Fi, Mystery/Thriller/Suspense, and Erotica. I love writing. There's something about being lost in these worlds and lives I help bring to life. There's nothing better if you ask me. Even though I tend to stay within these three genres when I write, I'll read just about anything.

I have an unhealthy addiction to three authors: John Grisham, Tad Williams, and Stephen King. They're not the only authors I like to read, obviously, but they are my favorites.

I've read every book Grisham has ever published. He is my all-time favorite. The best legal thriller author out there, I don't care what anyone says. There's a few of his books, A Time To Kill, The King of Torts, A Painted House, and The Summons, that I will read once a year. I can't seem to help myself. A Painted House is not his normal legal thriller. I love it when he writes something different from his norm.

Tad Williams is......fantastic. Which ones are my favorites, you ask? His Shadowmarch series. I was on pins and needles waiting for the last book to come out. When he decided to split the last book into two I wanted to cry. Alas, I made it through. I could go on talking about Shadowmarch for days and days. I've read the series about twenty or twenty-five times...maybe more. That's a lot considering they're not that old. There's also his Otherland series and his Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn series. Love them all. Plus his various stand-alone books. He has a way of sucking me into these worlds he writes about better than anyone else.Ah Stephen King...what can I say about King? Many of you will think it's cliche of me to have him in my top three authors. Guess what? I don't care. As with Grisham, I have read every book King has published (including those published under Richard Bachman), and I will gladly read them all again and again...and again. Particularly his Dark Tower Series. After that, I'd have to say my favorites are The Talisman and Black House (written with Peter Straub), IT, and though there was bad praise for Rose Madder, I actually liked it a lot. Not really sure why, I just did.
